Can't Beat It!
Once tailored, the suit is a super great deal! Fits well, well made, breathable fabric and looks great on the streets on NYC!!
Looks Great / Requires Alterations
AD offered the best price of any suit I have been able to purchase, ever. On the whole I like the site/brand for suit colors that I might not otherwise spend $200-500 for. In my example, attempting to replicate a relatively uncommon brown hue from a popular movie character, though not a widely remembered scene. However, having other size combinations available would have been helpful. First, I normally have custom suits made given that I have a large 'drop' in measurement from shoulders to waist (~46, 36). So, being able to purchase pants that were a different size (with a 46 suit size only 40in pants were an option) would have been helpful. More specifically, saved cost in alterations. Second, I found the fabric to be nicer than I expected it might be for the price. Though synthetic, I do think the claim that it looks and feels like a wool suit is correct. Third, the inside of the suit is quite nice for the price. I suspected there might be no lining in the suit or pants but that was not the case. Was glad to see the lining was done fairly well. Third, on the whole, for me, I needed to do a fair amount of tailoring to get the suit to what I wanted / needed it to be. As such, the total cost was not much less than if I had bought off the rack. In the end, I would still definitely return to AD and monitor the website for the $39 deals (as opposed to $79 normal price plus a significant shipping charge) to get 'additional suits' that round out a wardrobe in an economic manner.
